Cookie Policy

Effective date: March 25, 2026 | Version: 2026-03 | Last updated: March 25, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Telia uses cookies and similar technologies on teliamusic.com and app.teliamusic.com. It is aligned with the consent model implemented in our code today: necessary, preferences, statistics, marketing, and external media.

1. How our consent system works

We store your browser-side consent choices in a first-party cookie called telia_consent. That record stores the categories you accepted or rejected, the consent regime, the timestamp of the decision, and the policy version you accepted.

When we make a material update to the policy version, the banner can be shown again so you can review and refresh your choices. Necessary cookies remain active because the site cannot function without them.

2. Cookie categories we use

  • Necessary: required for authentication, consent storage, session integrity, security, and other core site functions.
  • Preferences: used to remember user interface preferences or consent-driven personalization choices.
  • Statistics: used for analytics and measurement when you grant consent.
  • Marketing: used for marketing and advertising tooling when you grant consent.
  • External media: used when you activate third-party embedded media such as YouTube and similar services.

3. Verified cookie and identifier inventory

The table below lists the cookie names and similar browser identifiers that are confirmed in our repository or by live production audit. We intentionally do not list third-party cookie names that have not been verified.

4. Tools and services triggered by consent

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) as a loader for consented tags. GTM is not treated in this policy as a blanket statement that every possible Google tag is active. We only describe cookies or tools that are actually confirmed.

Statistics

In our audited production flow, statistics consent enables tag-managed analytics such as Microsoft Clarity. Clarity may record usage, clicks, scrolling, device/browser context, and session replay-style analytics.

Marketing

Marketing consent enables marketing tooling paths such as the Meta script loader when the relevant environment is configured for it. We do not list Meta cookie names unless they are verified in the relevant live environment.

External media

External-media consent governs embedded players and third-party media integrations such as YouTube. Those providers may set their own cookies only after you activate the embed or allow the external-media category. Cookie names can vary by provider and environment.

Google Maps Places on address forms

On account address forms we use Google Maps Places autocomplete to help you complete addresses accurately. This is a functional third-party request path. It sends the characters you type to Google's service to retrieve suggestions. It is not described here as a general advertising cookie feature.

5. What we intentionally do not claim

  • We do not use ti_auth; the active auth cookies are ti_jwt and ti_claims.
  • We do not publicly list Google Analytics cookies unless they are confirmed live in the current environment.
  • We do not publicly list Meta cookie names unless they are confirmed live in the current environment.

6. How to manage your choices

You can review or change your cookie choices through the Cookie Preferences flow and any consent banner shown by the site. You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, although some core features may stop working if you block necessary cookies.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers send Do Not Track signals. Because there is no universally adopted technical standard for handling them, we rely on the consent choices you make through our own consent controls instead.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our tools, integrations, or legal requirements change. Material updates may trigger a fresh consent prompt through the policy-version system.

9. Contact
